Effie Vinal, current owner of Pine Knoll Realty
Pine Knoll Real Estate was started in 1970 by Henry Doughty on his porch in Woodstock. He soon bought a house in the center of South Woodstock and moved the company there.
He then sold that building and purchased the Samuel McClullen house, a 1759 antique Colonial in the center of South Woodstock. The company joined Century 21 and was active for 10 years. The company eventually moved to 24 Route 171 where it was until Henry retired and Effie Vinal purchased the business. In early 2021, she purchased an office building on Route 169 in North Woodstock, which is the present location. There are currently six licensed agents all serving residential sales of houses and land. We are a full-service agency for both buyers and sellers.
